Look a little closer
A bag carries things, but its outline, fastenings and surface also contribute to how it is seen. Begin with an ordinary accessory you already own. Describe what it does before deciding whether its shape feels formal, playful or understated. These are observations, not fixed style categories.
A note for your design book
Make two columns: practical requirements and visible decisions. Place a handle in both if it affects carrying and the silhouette. Museum collections offer examples of accessories in different contexts; they do not prescribe a single correct way to dress today. Your own short description can hold function and expression together without turning taste into a rule.
